What interests you most in the Star Wars universe?
I love the intricacies of the lore of the universe, watching and reading about the history and future of this in-depth universe is extremely intriguing to me. I love the fantasy of space magicians that are also samurai almost being wiped out. And I feel the good vs evil story from the original trilogy was perfectly transitioned into the morally grey story in the prequels.
What is the name of your character, and what is their history?
I want to apply for Commander Han Solo, that being Han Solo from the end of the third movie. Han Solo started his life as a street rat, and slowly through dangerous and reckless adventures alongside cutthroat tactics managed to claw his way into becoming a revered smuggles by the beginning of the first movie. Throughout his journey in the original trilogy he becomes a mentor figure for a young and reckless Luke Skywalker, teaching him the reality of the world while Obi-Wan Kenobi taught him the ways of the Jedi. Han is a crass and sometimes headstrong character that has an ego and skill with the blaster to back it. But he's also a strategist, he's smarter than he lets himself believe, and he continues to surprise people when they need him the most. And that's why he became a general of the New Republic at the end of the third movie.
What drew you to the character role you have selected?
He seemed the perfect fit for a fresh but familiar personality for me to use apart from Flavius Daclin. He's a smuggler turned General, and that really brought me to think about the endless bits of roleplay I can have as him. There's references to Ilum I can have due to his death there later, something along the lines about having a bad feeling about this. As well as his perfect ability to allow me to bring some new and interesting roleplay not just to RT but to the server as a whole.
What are your character’s main motivations, and how will you use that to drive your story?
Han's motivations at the end of the third movie are for him to finish what he started and help good prevail in the galaxy. He is dropped through time into a mysterious universe where evil is not defeated, and another empire threatens the galaxy. But this time, he steps up not as the general of a flimsy alliance reliant on underhanded tactics, but of an elite trooper corps able to pull off operations the rebels couldn't dream of. He's a sly man, who will spy and sabotage when needed, but he's a good man who values companionship and will fight to protect his friends.

What is your connection to this character?
I've never been a HUGE fan of Han Solo truthfully, but remembering his move (which i was one of the few who liked it) and thinking about what him as a character brings to the table of roleplay really makes my creative mind start grinding. I love the idea of a gruff man who was forced into a general position but found out all his lowlife skills translated perfectly into the battlefield.
What is your understanding of this character's origins and history?
I've watched the Han Solo movie, I've rewatched the original trilogy recently. And right after this application I wholeheartedly plan on watching about a dozen lore videos on the man just like I do for every star wars character I take a liking to.
How are you adapting your character to fit into the Reborn timeline?
Han solo will be transported to the reborn timeline a few months after the end of Episode 6, and will be living in the universe progressing through RT for a few months prior to my assuming of him. He will immediately enlist instead of returning to being a smuggler, as this Han Solo just finished ridding the galaxy of evil and isn't ready to live in a galaxy where another emperor led by the Sith exists. Especially not one led by the infamous Admiral Thrawn of the Empire.
What makes you best suited to fill this role?
I'm the current Marshal Commander, which means I have enough skill with the blaster and as a commander to portray General Solo to the best of my capabilities. And I have plentiful experiences roleplaying so I would be very eager to get into character as Han and do him justice through my portrayal as him.
