Standard questions:
What interests you most in the Star Wars universe?: It is probably history and lore. It has always intrigued me since I was interested in the Star Wars universe, I was never really a Jedi or sith fan but still enjoyed certain aspects of both factions. What I really was interested in was the Clone troopers and bounty hunters. Each one drew me in and made me really enjoy what star wars were.
What is the name of your character, and what is their history?: Despar Lok, Despar was a simple bouncer for a popular club on the planet of Axxila called "The Prime Refresher". We worked for the club for 2 rotations until a small group of Mandalorians decided to use the bar as a base of operations during their run from Jedi. They killed everyone in the club including the owner, they gave Despar a chance to live as a Mandalorian and he agreed, but during his time as a Mandalorian, they went into debt with the famous Czerka Corporation, and in order to pay off their debt they were required to have a member of their clan to work for them to pay off their debt. Despar has no family of any sort. Most of his family has died off due to the poor conditions of the planet Axxila due to their poor economy at the time.
What drew you to the character role you have selected?: In all honesty, I prefer using blasters rather than the janky WILTOS system and I think I would have more fun with this than other roles. I also enjoy the situations that I can get in as a Mercenary. I feel like it would be very fun.
What are your character’s main motivations, and how will you use that to drive your story?: The character's main motivation is to assist in any way possible for the right amount of money to pay off his debt to be a part of his clan. He is constantly trying to figure out his place in the galaxy since his recruitment into Clan Lok. I hope to advance his story by creating situations that would put him in on the spot to either choose between his brethren and czerka.
Mercenary questions:
Why has your character not joined either the Republic or Imperial military with their combat ability?: Being given a chance by the Mandalorians he has stayed loyal to them and would not give up a chance at a new life. The planet he was on was not really visited by either the republic or empire, he would often hear stories about both sides of the war usually most customers were not too fond of the war or of the actions that both sides have taken, as a child, he would always hear stories of the glorious republic but usually choked it up to patriotism not really anything else. The Empire for the brief time they have reappeared is usually cruel and he would often hear stories about how one would betray another. Despar doesn't have much of an ego when it comes to choosing a side he is rather humble and would rather just get the work done, too many times has his time been wasted escorting Czerka corp officials for nothing but superstition.
What is your character’s goal as a Mercenary?: To assist Clan Lok in repaying their debt even though it may never happen. Since his acceptance, he has been looking for a better purpose other than just throwing drunkards out of bars to do something that he has dreamed of for years since he was a child to assist what he considered heroes is just what he wanted, his goal in life, however, is to lead Clan Lok and attempt to unify the Mandalorian people, in his eyes the clans is the reason why the Mandalorians are struggling they have constantly fought over whom is better, just like the sith.
How will your character interact with the Republic and Empire?: To the republic, usually from what he heard in the stories of heroism Despar may think of them as weak individuals but will accept any service for credits. For the Empire, he may agree to be with them for a lower cost than usual just because the empire at that point respected most of the Mandolorian traditions as well as them helping his small group in certain areas while the Mandalorians usually hated the Jedi and were mocked constantly. However no matter what due to his contract and the interest of czerka, if an official says he has to listen to any higher up within czerka cooperation no matter the person.
