Reason: Breaking JvS RP & OOC Rules

Proof(Highly recommended): Sadly i don't have any proof that i can show, because the guy i am reporting used a mic. But i have got multiple eye witnesses: Jedi Knight Bob Shin Ra, Knight Kyber & Moderator Mythos.

Additional Info if there is any: Alright, so i will start writing down what happened start to end. The Shadows were sent on a mission on tat to capture a Sith. At the time i belive it was me, Knight Bob, Knight Coat & Knight Kyberous who were with me. Later on we find two Sith chasing down a Jedi, and i quickly interfere with the situation and attacking the Sith. I chase him trough the dune sea for a bit and then me and the rest of the shadows who were on a mission catch up to him and make him surrender (I belive Knight Jess was there as well but i can't confirm that). Now already here he starts blaming the padawan he was chasing after, I couldn't catch the padawans name since he was either killed or left the planet. Godd said that he was with another one of his buddies Sith App Hamstein (Sorry if i spelt that wrong), and they start saying that the padawan was breaking fear RP because he had below 350 HP which was true but in the rules it says: [x] Must be outnumbered 3v1 and they were only two.

Later on, Knight Kyber binds Godd to himself and ecscorts him to the Casino so we can bring him back to Tython. Now here's where the shit show starts. Godd has reported the padawan for a rule that he didn't break and Mythos teleports and takes me, Bob & Godd to a staff sit. Over there he start's doing staff disrespect and calling Bob a ''Complete fucking retard'' and starts talking in a childish voice to make fun of Bob. First rule broken (Player Disrespect). He then also starts saying the same things to the Moderator. 2nd Rule broken (Staff Disrespect). Moving on, Mythos concludes it and says that he must be captured and taken to Tython, and then i do ''/me knocks out the apprentice and carries him on my back''. And what Godd does back is that he suicides and said that i ''killed'' him 3rd Rule broken (Suicide during staff sit). Now Mythos gives him another chance and bring him back and get taken to Tython, then Godd keeps saying that he wants to be warned and let go, and he refuses to be captured and taken to Tython. 4th Rule Broken (Refusing to listen to staff).

For the end part, i had to go since it was getting late for me but the next day I asked Bob what happened and he said that Godd was captured and interrogated. I wasn't satisfied with that since i don't like when people do things like this and just get away. I know that Mythos is new and all and he did his job as best as he could but i didn't see the outcome of the sit acceptable. I don't want to blame Mythos for anything he did his job, it's just me and im unsatisified with what happened.

+1 this guy kept arguing constantly with me, you and mythos eventually making the sit almost last an hour and not even to his favour then when the capture was allowed he went afk

So what I don’t understand is why Mythos really didn’t do much? Why did he take the constant abuse from this person during the sit. Once he disrespected bob and Mythos he should’ve been warned for that. Then after the kill abuse in a sit and the no intent to RP should’ve been a 1-2 day ban especially after the warm. New staff are too soft tbh. +1

Don't think its soft I think its fear of getting yelled at by higher ups, idk if it happens but on others servers I have staffed on had all the new staff scared to be ripped into by higher up staff. Also he needs banned imo and thats all

ok so when I came into the sit what I saw was god surrounded by jedi with an ally in jumping distance away. I talked to both Bob and god separately and together. the confusion is there really isn't a rule saying how far an ally need to be in order for a fear rp to take place yes god was getting upset but if I got upset back at him it would've solved nothing. I then took Bob aside and talked to him to see how bad he needed to capture him and he said "that he needed the capture for a promotion". so I wanted to find a solution to help both parties because even if I warned Godd he still would let the capture go through and would have probably been banned for it. the problem with that is some of the jedi involved would've been upset because there mission wouldn't be completed and they wouldn't get the promotion. so I was trying to come up to a solution for both parties and that was that Godd would allow the capture and interrogation for 3 minutes once both sides agreed to that I brought both of them to jail cells where god was questioned and released.

so yes I could've warned( I gave him a verbal warning to either finish the capture or be warned ) but even if he was warned he wouldn't have gone through with the capture until he was kicked from server which would've left some jedi up set so I made the call not to warn him as long as he went through with the capture which he did

Ok so, it is better to make mistakes that can be fixed in a few messages rather than not punishing someone for something they should've been punished for and thinks it's ok to do so. The higher ups are not going to demote you for mistaking a warn or a 2 day ban. They'll tell you the proper protocol then move on with their day. Being afraid of your boss is a dumb excuse they are humans too and will understand mistakes.

Ok, lets break this down. With the ally in jumping distance, if the jedi were to tell god to drop his weapons when the ally IS NOT in mic distance then the capture is valid. It's one of those rules that aren't really written down since it's so nit picky but most of the older staff know of this rule or that is what I've been told by 3 of the SA's. Next, you should determine your warn on player's level and their previous behavior. He may have received multiple verbal warnings by other staff that weren't kept track of. Also I have seen staff determine if they should warn someone by their previous warns and I was having fun climb swep abusing on tat and reaching mach 10 and the staff that brought me into a sit, look at my previous warns only saw 2 and decided that I shouldn't be warned. I was level 210 btw. Next, though his "need for promotion" might have been important, when there is someone acting like this they need to be treated with differently. Someone not wanting to rp is a bigger problem than a promotion mission. You need to make sure they know all the rules. The way you ended the sit though was good on you so yeah.

Well I would consider it to be in the rule book because it states in order to capture u need to be in a 3v1 the problem is there is nothing that defines what would determine it to be a 3v1

Sits should not be limited by time. Take as long as it is needed to fix the problem, there is no reason to rush it.

Also this entire report, since a staff witnessed it, should be just about done already. Staff rule is final and the only reason I can see this being posted is if Mythos did an unsatisfactory job, which upon reading the report I can say that he was very close to it. No real blame though because Mythos is inexperienced, but still if there is a staff present and you make a player report later it reflects poorly on the staff member.

Also +1 this dude does sound like a dick

Dont get me wrong I took my time with this sit ik I could've just warned him and most likely kicked him because Godd said that even if I warned him he wouldnt continue continue with the rp and even said he would get as many warns until the server bans him him automatically this is something the jedi did not want as they wanted to capture him successfully so after talking to both godd and Bob together and separately we came to the conclusion that just being captured for a shorter time was the best thing to do and both parties agreed to it. If I simply warned him and just let things carry one with out a compromise I feel things qoulve been worse as godd woulve kept denying them the capture the jedi worked for ultimately leading to what godd wouldve wanted which wouldve been a ban that would have lead to Bob not being happy because his mission wouldn't have been a success because he would then be left with no one to bring back to be interrogated
