What interests you most in the Star Wars universe?

The Star Wars universe is a complex mix of both intense politics while flavoring it with wild combat and wars. The Lore is extensive in both a system of which there is official lore, not including the Sequels of course, then the countless millions of entries and thousands of characters built. What mainly pulls me is Swtor lore, given the nature of one massive Empire, lined with a exclusive Emperor and the army of millions of Sith. All scouring the galaxy and fighting the enigmatic Jedi. Their Rebluc and their ideals. Massive characters that shape the history of billions with ease. Star wars is a beautiful universe and it deserves to be spoken about and played with to the maximum extent.

What is the name of your character, and what is their history?
Rocky, it's a name that many know and I have been using for years. The history of the Gray Jedi Rocky, would be one told through the test of time. A observer of strife and a profuse believer that politics and bureaucracy should rule the galaxy. Finding a balance in the dictatorial power of a Emperor and the equal measure of the Republic. Both hold their strides in corruption and enticing power and fluency of members. Where one Emperor falls, another takes their place. When one council strives to change, another hopes for safety in their ideals. They believe in taking part in both, an advisor from a neutral perspective regardless of the actions done by both. They are no good nor evil, they are pure and wrong all the same.

Ukayria. They joined the Jal Shey at a young age and hoped to prosper on the political side of the path the force had given them, through the Jal Shey they learned that everyone wasn't necessarily Black or White or in-between, it was a ideological mix of right and wrong where there was no realistic or perfect nature of any system or politic, that everything that should be earned must be earned with a side of politics whether it is war or peace. Ukayria would take a natural tutorship at a younger age after reaching Neophyte within the Order, while there they would naturally find the alluring belief and philosophy that the greatest Minds, Strengths and Powers of a generation or nation are traditionally generated through war rather than only diplomacy. This turned Ukayria to a darker path of mixing a nationalistic campaign for the integrity of one's nation with the overwhelming need to purge the weak and annihilate those that would never show the potential of the Emperors or Grand Masters of the galaxy. That while they hold the Politics and the Bureaucracy to be a top-notch system to show the competence, willpower and tenacity of one individual, they are also quite emphatic about the necessity to fight and prove one's worth. After a long time in the order, they naturally grew in rank until they themselves, were a great philosopher and Mentor within the Jal Shey. Even if they are one that can be controversial.

What drew you to the character role you have selected?
A observer role, nothing is better than a advisory role from a position that one cannot influence. A person of extensive knowledge and a advisory while also being completely neutral to the preferences of both. It is of most importance to have observers and those anyone of any rank can call upon to advise them. TO fill a role that needs to be filled. To help both sides.

To create a politics driven character that can benefit both sides while holding a interesting view on everything around them. They can be invited by Councils or just simple members of each faction to give advice or to benefit the Faction as a whole. The addition of a crucible of which the natural way that Sith and Jedi work can be inter-mingled and another mind can enter the fray.

What are your character’s main motivations, and how will you use that to drive your story?
Their main motivations are politics and history, making a name for one's self through travesty and power-struggles. They witness all of them and shall expand themselves from the experience. They are to witness chaos and peace and strive for both to exist. I will expand my story through these experiences, seeing Emperors and Grand Masters alike rise and fall through and through. Learning why each and every one fell and how they can learn to avoid that in the future.

ROLE QUESTIONNAIRE
Copy and answer only the questions relevant to your role.

FORCE USER
Why has your character not joined either the Jedi or Sith with their Force abilities?
They believe in balance naturally, but more specifically they believe in the intensity that both Dark and Light side politics deliver unto the masses. They believe in taking part in both and advancing both. Both to a common goal, the perfect middle ground. The authority of the Sith and the peaceful actions of the Jedi. The mix of Emperor and Council. They strive to bring upon the Empire of a new age for centuries maybe even millennia to come. They wish to create the perfect system. Among their followers or otherwise.

In their philosophy and beliefs, they also have a grandeur belief that by assisting both sides in their war, they also reach their perfection. Victories over each other, natural influences to which to create a mix of balance and advancement. Advancement of a Faction's Knowledge on a topic, Knowledge on how to beat a great enemy, the assurance that the Empire and Republic maintain themselves to continue waging that incomplete war. For centuries to come, for as long as they do so, they advance themselves and in turn Ukayria's ideology.

What is your character’s goal within the Force?
Their focus with the force is to master it, to enhance it along with the way the galaxy is ran. They do believe naturally that force-users are the inherent rulers of the galaxy. They believe that any and all force-users were given their abilities for a reason. They were to create a grandiose galaxy where those who fall beneath them understand why a mix of enigmatic and malevolent will rule the day. They wish to master it and show others how it is properly used, how to combine their beliefs in the force to also represent the great power that the force brings. To perfect it in few worthy hands. To create great leaders.

What is your character’s interpretation of the Force?
Destiny. They believe that there is no dark or light side to the force, that it is all intertwined and that they must be melded to create perfection. That when a person is born with the Force, they can be destined to rule over the galaxy or die trying. Fate gave them the powerful gift and they must learn that every side of every coin has it's purpose. That as long as you land on a face of the coin, you fail to understand the real rarity and power that lies when you land on the side. The shock that drives it forward.

Ukayria would have a more nationalistic approach to the force, believing that whether the members of Sith or Jedi or otherwise, they find themselves intertwined in some fashion. And that when it comes to Force-Users, while they may be perfect Members of the galaxy and blessed with a gift that one can only comprehend as perfection. They can also be plentiful and weak. There's a reason there are Emperors or Grand Masters, there's a reason there are leaders who do unspeakable things that haunt the Galaxy long after they pass. There's a point behind everything, there are superior beings that belong on the Throne and there are those that are hunted, executed or thrown away. There are those who get voted in for their abilities, while there are also those who are exiled from the Order. Naturally there is a hierarchal balance to everything, there is always a necessity for force-users and beings with the same abilities to be on top of one another. There is no good or evil, there is no balance between them. There is the necessity and drive to find those perfect beings and to purge the rest. War, chaos, destruction. Doesn't matter if one of Jedi or Sith, this is their beliefs. The Jedi hate Sith, Sith hate Jedi and there is no cause that drives them both to continue the war besides their mutual destruction. But that's the beauty of it, while they wage war and destroy each other they also strengthen each other.

Machines of war, new powers, abilities, ranks, where one Council Members is replaced or dies another takes their place and excels at replacing the latter. The advancement of the current reality, the advancement of the force and the evolution of conflict. It took thousands of years for the force to become a weapon, it'll take thousands for it to evolve just as a weapon should. Always being rethought, always being questioned and improved. Force-Users may be perfect specimens in the Galaxy of weakness, but they also belong fighting until the few strong remain. Or to continue replicating for the cause of waging that war and improving more and more.

What is your character’s interpretation of the Jedi and Sith Codes?
They believe both are false, in their own respective ways. The Sith code believes in passion, which is something that matters and should exist within everyone. While the Jedi believe in knowledge and peace. However, to deny that one must limit their passion, or to deny that someone should not react to chaos or unpredictability? Those are falsities. They are wrong, they are flawed. They take good parts along with the bad. But once you meld them, they shall create perfection incarnate. A balance of purity.

Ukayria believes in their cause to the highest degree, even creating his own code to show so for his followers and Adepts.

Through War, there is Chaos.
Through Chaos, there is Strength.
Through Strength, there is Obedience.
Through Obedience, there is Loyalty.
Through Loyalty, there is Power.
Through Power, there is Politic.

Through War, Chaos will reign and Power will be challenged, creating the Strong willing to do so. Through the Strong, followers are created and armies follow one great Leader. Through the Obedience of command and the Power of one, Loyalty is created. Through Loyalty, the process begins again and Politics of meaning are generated. The system repeats itself, the system improves, the system perfects.

Really interesting understanding of the Force, great character and a good application.
However, I'm not quite sure if this character fits the 'Grey Jedi' role in lore, which are very rare and who align much more with the Jedi than your character.
Remember, you're applying for a Force User character and you're not limited to just 'Grey Jedi' anymore.
You could be a part of one of the many Force cults like the Zeison Sha or Jal Shey, or even a Dark Jedi, or a mere wanderer/observer.
Would you rather do something that's not Grey Jedi?

By the by, revamped some parts of the Application to fit the Jal Shey role far better among a Mentor Ranking. I believe I did a good job.
