What interests you most in the Star Wars universe?
The lore in general. I enjoy learning about the various different planets, species, organizations, and conflicts. Hearing about the different corners of the galaxy, what happens there and who was involved just makes my day.
What is the name of your character, and what is their history?
Xaavier is an Epicanthix male that was born on Dromund Kaas to a Sith Lord. As soon as it was discovered that Xaavier was indeed Force sensitive, his father set off to prepare him for the academy. Xaavier only ever knew his father as for whatever reason he was never told who his mother was. From a young age Xaavier's father began to drill into him the teachings of the Sith in order to prepare him for the academy. Xaavier, not knowing anything else besides this, threw himself into the teachings his father gave him. He never complained, he never faltered. Eventually, Xaavier was admitted into the academy at a young age. He faced much adversity in the beginning. Despite knowing all he could early on, most people in the academy were older than him by a somewhat fair margin. Nevertheless, he pushed on. He completed the trials he was given by his overseers and he competed with his fellow acolytes. During this time Xaavier made a "friend" within the academy. An overseer had taken a particular shine to this young lad.
Throughout his time in the academy, Xaavier would begin to look up to this overseer. Unlike most overseers who would have clear favorites when it came to trials, this overseer would still test Xaavier fairly equally to his other students. Eventually, Xaavier would pass through the academy and was made an apprentice and he also joined as a trainee Overseer. He found a master, one that was named Quantum. He was a very knowledgeable man but unbeknownst to Xaavier, Quantum had some issues with the emperor at the time. Quantum was slain and Xaavier was left angry and upset. He went into the catacombs where a few weeks prior, he was approached by a spirit offering him power. Of course, at the time, Xaavier agreed. He wanted revenge and to become stronger. The spirit had him cast out his old family name, the "Templars" and replaced it with one from the High Sith Language...Nirhiu or "Faceless". Soon enough though, Xaavier found another master named Riddick. Through training with his new master and hard work Xaavier eventually ascended into Lordship.
During this time Xaavier was made into a full time Overseer. He became well known for running many classes ranging from history classes to dueling ones. Eventually Xaavier was promoted to Commandant, taking part in Overseer and Imperial Command activities. After distinguishing himself as a good asset, Xaavier took the Darth Trials and passed with only a few minor mistakes that were corrected quickly. By this time, Xaavier had essentially forgotten about his treasonous feelings. The spirit he had made a deal with was long gone, having fallen out of contact with him. Xaavier cast out the name Nirhiu. He had carved out this power by himself, not with the help of some spirit. Surprisingly, Xaavier had a very brief stint as the Grand Marshal of Imperial Command. Unfortunately Xaavier felt that the position was not fit for him. He wanted to teach and share the history of the Sith which he could still do...but not on such a wide scale like before.
So in the end, Xaavier stepped down willingly, retaking his position as Commandant. After this, Xaavier would continue to teach some, mostly leaving the classes to his subordinates. Privately, away from the eyes and ears of everyone else, Xaavier began to gather information and texts from other places across the galaxy. He gathered texts about various different force organizations outside of the Jedi and Sith. He found artifacts containing years of information...and he even began studying Jedi teaching and their "culture." It all interested him to an extreme degree. When the shift in power started with Emperor Ziljian taking his place on the throne things were a bit rocky for Xaavier. The Previous Emperor had taken half of their fleet away while they had to deal with the Eternal Empire already weakening the considerably small Imperial fleet when compared to the Eternal Fleet. Xaavier began to see...Cracks in the Sith Empires armor. Little things here and there that would annoy him or confuse him. These things began to grow and grow until he finally decided that enough was enough. His passion was teaching and despite following the Sith code for so long he realized that many different codes existed and...they could be changed, and intermingled with one another. Xaavier decided that the Empire would be fine without him. As silently as he rose to power, he left, leaving no trace of his departure in any way to be tracked...
What drew you to the character role you have selected?
I debated for a few days about whether Xaavier would be best fit for Dark jedi or Grey. I know that at first his story leads to a Darker inclined character but as his story develops he will become more or less neutral to both sides. He would still have his dark tendencies, but he would mellow out some, learning from both sides, examining both views. I also believe that this path would give me the most RP possibilities for the future.
What are your character’s main motivations, and how will you use that to drive your story?
Xaavier simply wants to learn and teach. He wishes to travel the galaxy, absorb the knowledge of different cultures, and then teach that to people throughout the galaxy. As it turns out there is a lot of ignorance in the galaxy. I feel like this could make Xaavier a bit of a teacher to some people who choose to seek him out. It can fuel growth not only of him, but to others stories if they so please.

Why has your character not joined either the Jedi or Sith with their Force abilities?
Xaavier was originally with the Sith, but seeing many flaws with the system and the uncaring attitude of many, Xaavier thought it best to abandon them and let them sort it out themselves rather than sinking with them. He thought about going to the Jedi, but he thought that he had done too many things against them and was too "evil" to be considered eligible for them. He simply would not fit in.
What is your character’s goal within the Force?
Xaavier wishes to learn all he can through the force. He wants to know the various force powers and their ins and outs. He wants to learn about the various different religions with the force as their basis and...he wants to see how it all connects.
What is your character’s interpretation of the Force?
The force is a living entity. It gives its powers to some while others take control of it and bend it to their will. It is something that is meant to be used. A gift that should not be squandered by any means.
What is your character’s interpretation of the Jedi and Sith Codes?
Xaavier takes both codes at face value really. He believes both have their merits and their meanings are quite literal. Of course he's had his own experience with the Sith code. He believes both are used as suits of armor by both sides. Something each member of the differing views fall back on when times become hard. They are simply two schools of thought over the same subject.
