Most of the -1 is because of toxicity. If you end up getting denied you should spend time being serious and at least try to be friendly at all times.
All Id say is don't worry about other people calling you toxic. Just focus on proving to everyone that you are friendly. If you genuinely are a friendly person then show it, and remain to be for the remainder of the time you play on the server. Also, I think you don't need people to have to "get to know me" for them to be able to tell if you're nice or not. A lot of the time those traits are obvious.. anyway good luck.
